OMAR ABU AYYASH

Attorney Abu Ayyash is an Associate, member of the firm’s Corporate Department, focusing on all aspects of Corporate and Commercial law, including but not limited to contract drafting, contract reviews, day to day company corporate matters and other. Furthermore, attorney Abu Ayyash is responsible under the supervision of the firm’s Managing Partner for the SMEs desk at Hammouri & Partners advising SMEs and Startups on various aspects of business set up in Jordan. 

Attorney Abu Ayyash completed the Jordan Bar training with Hammouri & Partners Attorneys at -Law. 

In the period 2015 to 2016 attorney Abu Ayyash worked as legal advisor for Souq.com, an Amazon company and between 2016- 2017 as the Head of Legal Department at Nobles Investment Group Ltd. In 2020 and prior to joining Hammouri & Partners he worked as a legal consultant at Themis Law Firm (Jordan), Hmeidan Law Firm (Jordan) & Al-Hababi Law Firm (Qatar).   

Attorney Abu Ayyash routinely advises clients on an array of business matters, in both English and Arabic language. 

Attorney Abu Ayyash accounts over 9 years of experience in his fields of expertise.  He joined the firm for the second time round in late 2020.

  • Participated and coordinated the creation of a mortgage and other securities in respect of a plane registered in Aruba pursuant to the Cape Town Convention.
  • Acted on a claim in arbitration for a sub-contractor concerning additional works in respect of a Dam construction. Specifically advising on the presentation of the claim and settlement negotiation, and assisted in the disclosure and discovery process.
  • Appointed as an Administrative Secretary in Arbitration case administered in accordance with the Rules of the International Chambers of Commerce “ICC”.
  • Coordinated and drafted a multi-million Term Facility Agreement for one of the leading banks and a leading real estate company to finance a major real estate and hospitality project.
  • In the period July 2019 to September 2019 he joined the Spanish law firm Loring International Law firm as part of an internship placement.
